I learned a lot of things this week. I'll take the liberty to list a few.

1. Don't tell your neighbors when you throw a party. That way they can't know exactly where all that noise is coming from at 3 o'clock in the morning. Last time I made the mistake of inviting them and we got a letter. This time I thought about it before I talked to them and realized that they wouldn't know exactly who to accuse of being loud at that ungodly hour without going outside and seeing for themselves, which nobody would want to do at that time.

2. There's a bar near Greenlake that doesn't card. I appreciate that. The bartender might have had an idea when I asked his name and goes, "You're not gonna use it against me, are you?"

3. A "duckfart" is a really, really good drink. See #2 above.

4. I had too much too drink and ended up calling a friend and talking the night away spilling lots of secrets I probably shouldn't have shared. See #3 above.

5. You can't force anyone to feel anything, no matter how bad you want them to. That goes hand in hand with the drunk part and calling someone. I can't believe I said some of the things I did, because when I'm not around them, I don't feel that way. Also, tonight I hung out with a really cool girl and realized that you can't make someone think something of you. People are who they are, for better or worse, and I just hope she thinks I'm cool enough to hang out again.

6. When you kneecap collides with someone else's shin, it really fucks your leg up. I have a habit of getting myself hurt at Kung-fu, and tonight was no exception. We'll see how well I can walk tomorrow when I wake up.

If tonight proved a disaster, then tomorrow I'd like to forget about it all. If not, then I'd like to think of what the near future might hold. Either way, tomorrow is pay day, and I don't work, so that means some serious mischief can occur with a check in my pocket and time on my hands.
