Back in the day when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore...

Too true. Although some things don't change, like my hatred of the dentist whom I have to visit today at 3:40. That's poo. Aside from that, I'd like to think I'm all grown up. Lessons still to be learned and heartaches to go through, but for the most part, childhood is all gone.
"Childhood is over the moment you know you're going to die."
Also very true. I think that's the moment you realize that things have a process to them and that nothing lasts forever. All that is encompassed in the moment you know that death comes for everyone. That said, life is full of change and change breeds innovation and excitement, at least for me. I love my life to the fullest and for all the bitching I do, I've got it easy. No real worries and no concerns. Could you ask for anything more?
As for what the summer will bring, what I owe myself and what will transpire, well...like I said, it's all about change. Seriously, some new paradigm is founded once the summer has passed. Shit gets crazier every year. Each year that passes in my life has become more extreme. Higher high's and lower low's. But that's what makes me feel that it's all worth living. You know the feeling you get when your stomach sinks going down a hill really fast? You know the sensation of going on a really fast rollercoaster? You're scared and full of adrenaline; you love the rush. At least I do. And in 5 days after school's out, that's what I'm hoping will come about. Actually, I don't need to hope. It happens every year. And there's nothing that says this summer will be any different.
Here's to the coming months of summer. Cheers.
