Whatever you do, make sure you don't disappear with the tide...

Last night didn't make a whole lot of sense. I had this whole post written explaining it and why it didn't make any sense, but then I decided it's best to try and forget everything that happened and move on. I feel like spending some money, coincidentally, and that might make me forget most of it. I've been meaning to get a new phone and I think I just might do so. New number? I think so. That might help the world make more sense. Or maybe not. We'll see. For now though, I want the world to be understandable, and understanding. I think that's a reasonable request. So is a driver's license number so I can transfer my number. Fuck, I have to go renew my license in a few weeks. I'm so going that morning.

My dad just called with that number I needed. When he said goodbye, his exact words were "Later, nigga." I think the world just started making sense again. Yesterday was just a hiccup. Three cheers for the daily grind.
